So the derby match ending with a 4-3 scoreline, exciting goals, and a controversy the 6 minutes (4 minutes on the board) extra time.

Many people said that the match was "kelong". Let me ask, if it was Manchester City who scored the goal during the extra time, would anyone have yelled "KELONG!" ? And I realize, most of the people who were complaining about the extra time allowance are Liverpool fans. So, if this were a Liverpool derby match against Everton, and Liverpool scored in the 96th minute, Liverpool also kelong lor? Use your brains and think before talking folks . Just an example k.. Liverpool fans please don't get worked up, bad bad for health =)

Yes, no doubt the official extra time shown was 4 minutes. But that was decided before the 3rd Manchester City goal was scored. Bellamy scored his goal seconds away from the 90th minute, maybe 89.xx minutes. And the ball did not get kick off until 91.xx minutes. xx because I cannot remember precisely. LOL. and a substitution was made in the extra time. And substitutions are usually added on to the extra time by about 30 seconds. That explains the approximate extra 2 and a half minutes on top of the injury time of 4 minutes.

But i reckon no matter what the explanation or facts show, people will still think it's a kelong. IF it's a kelong, so what? Singapore football also got kelong leh. Needless to talk about the BPL. Live with it.

Anyway, moving on, Edmund's mom gave me a box of moonpies from Le Cafe Confectionery and Pastry. Edmund has 2 boxes at home and his Mom and Dad thought it was too much for them to consume and decided to give my family 1 box.

17 - 9 - 2009; night = started cycling. Bought filter medias from Clementi 328.

18 - 9 - 2009; night = introduced ammonia into the fish tank to cultivate beneficial bacterial in the filter medias and to 'test' the filter system set up.

19 - 9 - 2009; night = Used test kits.

Results:
PH - 7.8
NH3/NH4 (Ammonia) - 0.25mg/l
NO3 (Nitrate) - 12.5mg/l
NO2 (Nitrite) - 0.3 mg/l

What we are suppose to monitor within these week - Ammonia spike and down to 0

What we are suppose to monitor 2 weeks after Ammonia spike - Nitrite Spike and down to 0.

Nitrate to maintain at a consistent level after everything. Not too high.

And then, tank is cycled.

So motivating la, so many people..

When Rina announced last week that I was going to take over this week's class, I was so afraid people hear liao wanna skip today's class lorrrr.. Heng most of them come..

Anyway, today I think rather torturing for them la.. some of my students give me the "Wahh... so painful lehhh..." face... So guilty lor.. wanna smile at them, but a bit unprofessional to smile and smile so much to 1 student while teaching the whole class la..

Anyway at the end of the class, got one lady came up to me and told me "it was good man.." HAHAHAHA... so happy!

Meaning she stretch till she very happy lah, cannot be because good cus too relaxing right.. I heard a lot of "arggh" and "phewsss" lor.. haha..

Now I'm looking forward to tonight..

Recently I've been listening english radio stations instead of chinese ones. I can't seem to recall any new chinese song? I have some vague memory about Xiaozhu's song though, but i forgot the title.. -.-

I'm beginning to feel like I'm in Primary 6 - Early Secondary.. During those years, I would just tune in to 98.7fm in the night while I'm studying. The DJ would be the recently-hot-in-e-news Jamie Yeo. At other timings, I sort of remember Daniel Ong and Jean Danker too. I was so in love with Westlife. Haha, S club 7, O-town, N'sync (besides Timberlake).. you know, those kind.. Haha..

However, once I hit Secondary 3, I got more exposure to Chinese music. I guess friends make an influence. My then-best-friends, Sally and Louis, we used to go to Kbox so frequently, singing SHE or Jay chou (can't really remember anyone else), and oh yeah, 选择。。 please forgive my chinese words if they are wrong, haha..

There was also a time I was so mesmerized by Jay Chou.. I guess that was in poly days.. I remembered SY not being able to make it for the Jay Chou Premier of Initial D, So YL and I went ahead to LIDO. Haha.. So fun! I remember that day because a couple of days after that, my pet parrot, Wilbert, passed away. SIAN. SI BEI SIAN!

Now, I listen to 91.3fm. I remembered how it used to be so techno when I listened to it in Secondary school in the car when my dad was fetching me to school (YEAH! MY dad WAS a techno freak too!) So hilarious. But now, 91.3fm no more techno leh, not that I want techno la, techno is so not for me now. Instead, it's more of like the complilation of some of the hottest songs la.. I love songs like heartless by Kayne West, Mad by Ne-yo, Halo by Beyonce, Just Dance by Lady Gaga.. and so many more!!

I got party mood liao! cham!!!

Update: Since my stupid tickerfactory thing cant work (ok, it's not stupid lah, its me, who ask my background is black colour.. -.-), it is 1 month, 3 weeks and 2 days until the start of my EXAMS!!

YAY.

Hmm, been quite long since i've posted a decent entry..

Been quite busy studying (though slacking 30% of the time when i'm supposed to study) for my prelims... but today is my self declared off day!

Here's the brief analysis of my prelim exams..

1st paper - Accounting - quite tough, can pass i very happy already. Sort of didn't complete 2 questions in Section A cus i really didn't know how do to!

2nd paper - Corporate Finance - Couldn't finish studying everything, so i went to the exam hall prepared for 4 topics (choose 4 out of 8 questions). In the end leh, got some questions repeated topics wan.. So only 2 of the topics i studied got come out.. haiz, dun tok abt marks le..

3rd paper - Marketing - I slept at 4.30am the night before, I couldn't sleep sia.. my head so heavy.. I wrote, until not enough time to complete my question 8. Those topic i die die die die x10000 memorize didn't come out lor.. sian..

4th paper - Sociology - no comments cus i didn't go this morning. =X

Life and Death

What's up with this month. I've since known of 5 funerals already. To add on to that, this month got 6 more public death cases with more publicity and 3 of which occurred closer to home. First is the NTU student who fell from the 4th story of one of the buildings in the campus, second is another NTU officer who hung himself at his hostel, third is the American overseas student who suddenly died at the NUS hostel - this happened in between the 1st and 2nd cases. Forth is the Signed-on SAF Dr, Allen Ooi who took his life in Melbourne due to severe unhappiness at work (or so assumed by his email). 5th is the mass killer at Germany. 6th is the mass killer at US - who, fyi, shot his family's dogs too. urgh.

Bf's grandmother passed away earlier this month. Went to the funeral to pay my last respects. Luckily he brought me along to see her a few months ago.. at least can talk to her etc..

Today, I just received an sms that Anthony's (my yoga teacher) dad pass away yesterday afternoon. He was 98.

The other 3 funerals I know of are friends' friends'.

Actually, facing all these funerals and deaths, to me now, death = someone spiritually leaving his or her physical body to move on to another world. Of course, it is always sad for their loved ones to see them leaving for another place. But it can just mean your fate with them comes to a stop here for now.. Life and death is part of everyday life. One day, our closed ones will also leave us (though I don't want it to happen). But we can't make time stop, can we?

On a lighter note, Bf and I did a little viewing of flats at TPY. But not the housing agent type of viewing la.. We viewed the exterior area of some particular block of flats at toa payoh. It has 40 stories.. damn high la.. The block of flats are very near the central, sort of in the middle of TPY and Braddel, walking distance to HDB Hub and MRT. We walked and walked, finally reached the void deck liao. We took the lift up to 40th storey (ps: got 2 lifts sia, one from 1st-22nd, the other from 22nd to 40th). So fun lah, our ears like taking aeroplane like that.. blocked den pop! haha..

After reaching the 40th story, we went to the landing and omggggg the view damn damn damn damn damn damn nice lah.... WTF.. I see liao feel very in love lor... I seriously love all these high story views la.. so nice... I think can see all the way to Ang mo Kio and Yishun lor .. Slightly to the left I could see a patch of dark dark area, after the dark dark area den is the lightings again.. (went to check, that dark dark area is Macritchie + Lower Pierce + Upper Pierce + Upper Seletar reservoir) Wah lao, means the lightings after the reservoir is Woodlands and the Causeway lor.. WAHHH.. Can see until so far sia... so f-nice lahhhh

Den we walked to the other side to view.. Can see CBD, Kallang, Lavender, and even the Singapore Flyer lah~~~ WAH LAO, NDP or CNY wanna view fireworks sure ideal place to stand wan lor... ARGGGHH so gian to stay there~~!!! Sumore the floor so high, so windy and cooling, no need to buy Aircon or fan sia~~ save money~~ *but the view down..... very f-scary.

Haiz.. But nice stuff don't come cheap. okay, first thing, there is no way we can buy that flat anytime soon because those flats are new (HDB 5 year rule). Even so, u think people there will sell their high story flat meh~~ there is seriously very song lor... second thing, the price lah!! wah lao, my agent da jie told me new 5m (My wish!) flat low floor is $600+K.. Imagine add on to resale valuation + COV.. haiz.. I think this really dashed my dreams and hopes of staying there liao.. imagine high floor how much.. Sigh..

So... Bf and I got another idea, you all know tampines there got another high high HDB? Tomorrow we're going to ka-jiao there already. Hhaah, our own "Viewing session~!"

*side track = these viewing of HDB is done just purely out of fun and not with any intention lah (at least on my side). Who say wanna marry him? And who say he wanna marry me? Haha, we also got our own limits, not even enough money to buy my engagement ring how to buy flat. Haha..
