I really shouldn't be surfing too much of the internet and playing too many online games.. especially at this time of the year..

My prelims really made me realize how little I really know despite attending all 21 lessons for each lecture. So demoralizing..

To make things worse, I have a HRM paper on Friday morning!

I bought a new pair of jeans yesterday!

Can anyone believe it? Anyone ever seen pozhu wearing a pair of jeans??? I doubt so right? Okay, maybe only della huang, since we have known each other for 16 years and surely I've worn jeans when I was in P6 or early secondary or something.

I stepped into Dorothy Perkins after my meal at Manhattan Fish Market (1 for 1 Lobb-xi-fatt-ca!) and decided to try on a pair of jeans just for fun since Edmund only saw me in jeans for like 2 times for the past many months. Haha. So apparantly I don't know what came over me and there I was at the counter paying for my jeans. Sigh, let's just hope my jeans won't become a display in my wardrobe la ok.. =(

Happy! Have been feeding the stray dog quite regularly (or so I think) these few weeks. 20th September, 2nd October, 6th October. He is less wary of me already, beginning to come closer to me le.. =) However, he has no friends with him.. Always alone, lying down, slacking.. Wonder how long has it been since his last bark? I always ask Edmund "Eh, everytime we see him his nose is closed, never bark, never smile.. you think he got bad breath? =X

Went to Airport's NTUC to redeem something for my mother.. Xiuping accompanied me too. We ended up shopping for tidbits.. and boy did we buy a LOT of tidbits! I bought Jagabee and Jack N Jill Unagi potato chips! Because Edmund has always been a fan of unagi! + other stuff which I usually like! WOooWooo~~ So, we ended up with 2 plastic bags each.. and we took a bus from Airport to Tanah Merah. o.m.g from the point I stepped into the NTUC to the point I got home, it was the most aunty-ish i ever felt. Especially with my mom's big pot in the huge plastic bag........... T_T But it was very funny laughing at ourselves though. hahaha

On 6th October (yesterday), we went for makan! at Chomp Pang Nasi Lemak! My first time there! Before that, we headed to Yishun 618 de FISH SHOP! Weeee~~~ I love to go to fish shops..! Den, we drove up to Chomp Pang.. The Nasi Lemak quite nice sia, but one thing I don't like are the cats there! Someone got the tendency to throw food at stray cats for them to eat lor. Yes you can, but please throw further away la. Someone knows i'm so scared of cats still wanna let them be near me. Urgh.

So, today is my "off day". But I got things to do! I got to bathe Gilbert! Arggh, he will hate me more lor... Every time i wanna get him to the toilet, it will always be an unpleasant experience for him. =(

By the way, update on my fish water! The Ammonia has gone down to 0mg/l after hitting a 3mg/l last few days! =) and the Nitrite and Nitrate has peaked! Nitrite is BLOODY RED lor. SO RED THAT I CANNOT EVEN FIND THE COLOUR ON THE SCALE! Better drop soon! PATIENCE! One day I will draw a chart on the readings. =)

ok, on a different note, wanna talk about something generic. Sometimes I don't know why I can be so persistant on things and make firm decisions/be stubborn. But why does it always work for most cases but not another? I've got so many questions, but I don't feel like typing all my problems out on a computer.. Maybe will do a locked post (is there such a thing for blogger????) sometime soon. BAH.

My body clock is finally changing for the better. With 3 morning lessons (with me needing to wake up at 6.30 latest) for 3 days a week, I finally can sleep at latest 1am. During my holidays, I can't go to sleep anytime before 3.30am/4am.. and I can't wake up anytime before 12.30pm.

Now, I sleep at 12+am and wake up at 6.20 on the day I have lessons. For today, a Wednesday, because it is my off day from school, I woke up automatically (actually, from a nightmare) at 10+am. Which is pretty early and decent for a person like me, don't you think? I hope to keep up with this kinda sleeping cycle.

But on the days when I have morning lessons, once I reach home, I will eat my lunch, surf the internet.. forums.. and feel very tired automatically, and will need to take an afternoon nap! The nap usually lasts 3 hours on average. Once, it went up to 4! super long lor.. but somehow I was still able to sleep last night despite my 3 hour nap.. haha, pig ish like tt de lahs.. haha

Last Sunday of the month again. Basically, on every last Sunday of the month, YogaConnections will be participating in an event organized by Geylang Serai Community Club. The event is aimed to target families to get together and do some activities/exercises, to create a better bond between themselves. So far, this event has been going on for 4 months already and it's so far so good!

After our activity, we (this time Edmund did not come) went to Changi Road for our Durian buffet! woooooot! It costs $15 per pax. And the feeling of 10 people eating durian together is really nice! But I felt sooooo veryyyyy bloated after that. Haha, not gonna be something I'd do once in a month for sure!

Besides all these, nothing much to blog about anyway. My fish tank is still undergoing the cycling process. Ammonia has hit up to 2.5 thereabout mg/l (yes I added more ammonia. don't know if it's the right thing to do or not?). Needs to go down to 0 and nitrite to go up and down before fish tank is considered stabilized. Patience is the key word here!

Something random here. My MSM lecture ended at 11am yesterday instead of 11.30! HAHA! Xiuping and I were like O.O when Mr David Quek said okay that's all for today. HAHA.

Another thing random. I exchanged my student card already and the picture is fugly. enlarge so big for what sia. eeeyer.

And the worse thing is, the scanning reader CANNOT scan my card! wtfbbq right! Xiuping's one can leh. I tried it when it's in my wallet/in the card holder/by itself/from far/from near/from left/right. Still dun wanna acknowledge me! xiuping's one everything can! arggh. I got pay school fees okay!

Okay, grumpy girl is done with her whinings liao.

Just started school on Tuesday (22nd September). Had my first lesson with Xiuping.. Management Science Methods. After letting the admin scan my card at the entrance for verification, the notes were shoved (not literally) to me. I was like "O.O wah, so thick worrrrrr"

Xiuping and I kept complaining about how thick it was. We didn't get to experience the real "tong ku" of having such a thick stack of notes until the end of the lesson. We helped each other to get our notes into each other's plastic bags (Yes, SIM provided plastic bags for us to put our thick notes), like aunties in the wet market, struggling to stuff as many vegetables into a plastic bag. <.<

We took a bus to clementi instead of dover because the dover bus got a lot of people! US + 1 hand occupied with notes which MAY fall out of the plastic bag in packed bus - not a good idea. So anyways, when we got into the train at clementi, it was quite full, but not to the extent of bursting cabins.. and we SAW A SEAT! YES! So i told xp, eh u go sit lah, u stay at bedok, dropping off later den me. Den she said, you sit lah.. Den we went on saying whoever sits there will have heavy notes x2 on her thighs.. wait broken how (especially for xiuping.. haha) etc... suddenly, i heard, "next stop, DOVER". WAH.

Guess what I said that made us immediately wanted to go for the seat? I said "EH, DOVER LEH, WAIT ALL THOSE SIM STUDENTS WHO TOOK 74 JUST NOW COME OUT HOW! DEN CONFIRM NO MORE SEAT LAH!"

wtf, just like a kiasu auntie lor. WAH LAO. ya, i am saying myself.

Just nice, the ah pek beside the empty seat stood up, and we went for our precious seats.. hahahha..

Okay, on another note, I went over to Kallang Bahru this afternoon to check on my fish and new fish tank and feed the fish.

Bought Ban Mian from Kallang Bahru market. I love the Ban mian there la, and the auntie always call me xiao mei (hehehe) or ah gal.. The ban mian rocks!

When I got home at around 3+pm, I saw this outside my door!

It's my loots from online spree! A bag for Edmund! Wee~~ It's here. It looks tooooo big though. And the colour got a bit of difference. In fact, quite a lot! But it's fine. Camera flashes and lightings do make a difference to pictures. Will see what Edmund says about this bag when we meet tomorrow! (If he can go home after his field camp)

Shucks F1 is coming and Edmund's dad is going to watch it so i reckon he needs the camera which has a damn cock-uped memory card which cannot be formatted and it seems like a new one is needed plus 2 camera batteries that are flat! Tell me how! F1 is on Friday. Edmund will only be back at home on Thursday night if lucky. Tell me how tell me how!

So the derby match ending with a 4-3 scoreline, exciting goals, and a controversy the 6 minutes (4 minutes on the board) extra time.

Many people said that the match was "kelong". Let me ask, if it was Manchester City who scored the goal during the extra time, would anyone have yelled "KELONG!" ? And I realize, most of the people who were complaining about the extra time allowance are Liverpool fans. So, if this were a Liverpool derby match against Everton, and Liverpool scored in the 96th minute, Liverpool also kelong lor? Use your brains and think before talking folks . Just an example k.. Liverpool fans please don't get worked up, bad bad for health =)

Yes, no doubt the official extra time shown was 4 minutes. But that was decided before the 3rd Manchester City goal was scored. Bellamy scored his goal seconds away from the 90th minute, maybe 89.xx minutes. And the ball did not get kick off until 91.xx minutes. xx because I cannot remember precisely. LOL. and a substitution was made in the extra time. And substitutions are usually added on to the extra time by about 30 seconds. That explains the approximate extra 2 and a half minutes on top of the injury time of 4 minutes.

But i reckon no matter what the explanation or facts show, people will still think it's a kelong. IF it's a kelong, so what? Singapore football also got kelong leh. Needless to talk about the BPL. Live with it.

Anyway, moving on, Edmund's mom gave me a box of moonpies from Le Cafe Confectionery and Pastry. Edmund has 2 boxes at home and his Mom and Dad thought it was too much for them to consume and decided to give my family 1 box.

17 - 9 - 2009; night = started cycling. Bought filter medias from Clementi 328.

18 - 9 - 2009; night = introduced ammonia into the fish tank to cultivate beneficial bacterial in the filter medias and to 'test' the filter system set up.

19 - 9 - 2009; night = Used test kits.

Results:
PH - 7.8
NH3/NH4 (Ammonia) - 0.25mg/l
NO3 (Nitrate) - 12.5mg/l
NO2 (Nitrite) - 0.3 mg/l

What we are suppose to monitor within these week - Ammonia spike and down to 0

What we are suppose to monitor 2 weeks after Ammonia spike - Nitrite Spike and down to 0.

Nitrate to maintain at a consistent level after everything. Not too high.

And then, tank is cycled.

Looking forward to this day, but patience is the key word here. =)

Did not do any measurement on 20-9-2009. Today is 21-9-2009. Edmund shall do the measurements and then update me. Next measurement to be done on 23-9-2009 by me because Edmund is going to field camp and i shall drop by Kallang, and shun bian feed BF to my fish. =)

Woke up at 9am from a nightmare (or should it be termed as daymare considering the time?) .

I dreamt about my results.

The first thing to do once i opened my eyes was to rush to the computer.

Indeed, results were out in the wee hours of 1st September, 2009. 1am plus, to be specific, Singapore time.

I gey kiang went to sleep at 1am lor. But did not really sleep till 3am. So technically, I could have found out ytd..

Anyway, end of story. Results out liao! Finally! It has been 3 months since my last paper!

And the whole cycle is going to repeat again for the coming semester! (FOR THE LAST TIME I HOPE!)

My Mom was to represent her school to meet the President @ the Istana today. So I drove her to MOE to gather with the other teachers first. WAH LAN EH. The drive to MOE and home was !$@$% lor. 4+ pm so many cars. All gek siao zao early from work right.

Today I got a bit more guts on the road than before. I honked firmly @ 2 cars on seperate occasions. KNS, dun step on lao niang's tail k. Think lady driver can bully. (insert any vulgar words)

Anyway, met up with Edmund @ 5pm and headed over to see my fish.

Had dinner @ his house downstairs de Indian stall.

Damn full man. Maggi Goreng + Ikan Billis Nasi Briyani + Indian Rojak + Mango Lassi.

WHY EDMUND NEVER ASK ME IF I WANT MILO DINOSAUR NOT!

So, Dad came home with a blue-black lovebird (Black-masked lovebird) on Saturday. The little fella flew into the home of a friend of my Dad.. and that friend decided to give the fella to us..

So.. Gilbert has a new friend! Or should I say, a new didi.. haha

Mom and I were thking of names.. Polly, Oliver, Olive.. wah lao.. Oliver and Olive sounds so funny la.. Imagine i tell someone.. I got 2 parrots, they are called Gilbert and Oliver/Olive. People will think is human lor.. lol

Anyway.. the name was decided when I was having my Sunday sleep.. I heard them saying.. them as in mom and sis, that they wanted it to be called bluebert.. WAH LAO EH. BLUEBERT.

OF COS I SAID NO LAH. BUT, they alr started calling him that. Kao.

Just came back from lunch @ Goodwood Park Hotel with Sister and Mom.

The good was fantabulous.
